Like most of the other posters here, I have the same stopping point during startup, but with a status=0 (success)
I can press enter and the cursor advances a line, but other than that, I can't seem to get the VDP 6.1 appliance to do anything.
I cannot connect from vCenter either.
Out of curiosity, what use is the VMware technology network, if people post questions here that never seem to get answered?
Update:
It's doing something because the CPU usage is over 50% disk usage isn't high, but it isn't zero either. Network usage is nearly zero.
Perhaps it is checking the storage, or still starting but it simply doesn't have any indicator at all as to what it is doing?
Update #2:
In my case the answer was... Just Wait. When it pauses at that point with a status=0 (success) and it says nothing further... it is actually continuing to load. I had to wait about two hours before the VDP appliance finally finished loading. Then I was able connect from vCenter web client.
