I am working on setting up offsite replication of VDP Advanced backups. The source and target appliance are both running 5.5.6. The target appliance has the replication only license installed on it. I was able to successfully set up a test replication of a single VM and restore that VM at the offsite location.
The local VDP backups at the primary site are going to a dedicated storage array. Let's say that something happens to the array and it is no longer available, but the rest of the environment is okay. Is it possible to replicate backups from the offsite appliance back to the target appliance? I looked to see if I could set up a replication job on the offsite appliance, but it has no clients available on the selection screen.
