Worked for me! Thanks for the quick fix.  Select the root level in vCenter and from menu select AdministrationCustom AttributesSelect the attribute and click Remove.

VDP is tightly coupled with vCenter. Your OES VM and VDP should be in the same inventory of a vCenter. Means that you will have to add both the hosts to a single VC to perform backup/restore. But...

If you have VDP-A (Advanced) then you can replicate data from 1 VDP-A appliance to another. But base version of VDP do not offer that feature.Yes ..do the first FULL backup back during non-peak hours...

Hi, look under configuration. The VDP appliance has a maintenance window configured and might be in Read-Only mode. It won't run your jobs then. Regards

Can you attach vdr-server.log from the appliance. Path: (\usr\local\avamar\var\vdr\server_logs)Also run the backup job again and give the exact time-stamp so it helps me if i look in the log file.
