Script to delete VM snapshot from the vcenter appliance

I need to scheduled a task to run a script which will delete VM snapshot from the vcenter appliance .

We have recently migrated from windows based vcenter to linux based vcenter appliance. So the powershell script which we were using for our existing vcenter is not helpful now.

Please let me know what shall we do to achive the same on vcenter appliance.
