Yes, I am familiar with one of the best backup solution for vmware. CloudBacko is the ultimate choice. It is the only backup solution that can encrypt everything with a 256-bit truly randomized key, including all the data and filenames. No one, not even NSA, is able to open your backed up VMs on the cloud.
I'm all for security and privacy, which is why I'm in favour of encryption technologies. If you just said "contains encryption technology for security" I'd support your statement.
But let's get two facts out of the way:
- Not even the NSA? The moment you say this you're either naïve or uneducated.
- Cloudbacko actually asks the user what mode to encrypt in, and the demonstration guides online suggest ECB. The correct word for this is "amateur hour" as far as encryption is concerned.
With that out of the way, do you happen to work for them? Because this post wreaks of marketing.
